Cloudy Bay Showcases Success Story Pioneering Pinot Noir Rival to Burgundy - Cloudy Bay 呈獻 Pinot Noir黑皮諾葡萄佳釀 帶領紐西蘭紅酒潮流

Iconic New Zealand winery Cloudy Bay showcased its successful story in pioneering the country’s emergence for producing red wines from Pinot Noir. Earlier, Mr Jim White, Viticulturist of Cloudy Bay, hosted a ‘Pinot Salon’ Tasting explaining the insights of the brand’s winemaking journey at Potato Head in Hong Kong.


The ‘Pinot Salon’ was moderated by Annette Scarfe MW. She explained the renaissance by comparing back vintages of both regions – the Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir of Marlborough from 2010 and 2014, and the exciting new Te Wahi Pinot Noir of Central Otago from its debut release in 2010 and 2015 which is not officially released until later this year.


紐西蘭經典葡萄酒名莊 Cloudy Bay 以釀製風味非凡的Pinot Noir紅酒領先同儕,獨一無二的釀酒風格領導當地的葡萄酒潮流。Cloudy Bay的葡萄種植師 Jim White早前於Potato Head 餐廳舉行了Pinot Salon盲品會,與本港的葡萄酒愛好者分享酒莊在釀酒的工藝中所領悟的啟示,一起踏上探索美酒之旅。


今次Pinot Salon 盲品會邀請了Annette Scarfe MW擔任客席主持,她帶領著參加者逐一品嘗和比較產自Cloudy Bay的兩種酒區、以及來自世界不同產區、不同年份的紅酒,從而了解創新的釀酒方法 ; 包括產自Marlborough酒區的2010年與2014年Pinot Noir,以及產自Central Otago酒區2010年與2015年的Te Wahi 。這款2015年Te Wahi是Cloudy Bay新登場的精湛傑作,原定於今年年底才正式推出市面發售,是次率先與各位葡萄酒愛好者分享,實在十分難得。
